First, what is Diving? Diving can be
relaxing, action-packed, tranquil, adrenaline pumping, adventurous -
Diving can be all this and more - the choice is yours.
Can you imagine being
in a tropical location diving in crystal clear water, surrounded by
brightly colored coral and fish. You and your buddy put on your dive
equipment to enter the water and explore the abundance of marine
life -- all the while hovering weightlessly underwater. Or, you
could be off exploring a new shipwreck off the coast of a small
island out in the middle of the ocean - where conditions are
challenging.
You're ready for
anything because you've invested in the right training and have
gained valuable hands-on experience. Is being prepared for worth it?

Do you have to travel
to these areas to learn to dive or take a continuing education
course? You can if you like. However, you can also choose to learn

Technical Dive Training
Have you ever wonder about going
beyond the depths of recreational diving, staying at deeper depth
longer or why those divers that
you see were carrying so much gear?
At Surface Interval Scuba under the
Direction of Elite Tech Diver, we offer the best technical dive
training in the DFW Metroplex through TDI and PADI! With the extensive background and
experience our technical dive instructors offer the most
comprehensive training in the industry. We do not just teach you
skills but help you apply those skills to actual diving practices.
Our training does not end with just a certification but an
opportunity to join and dive with some of the best technical divers
in the world!
What is Technical diving?
Technical diving is diving beyond the
recreational limits, and/or diving outside of recreational gear
requirements. Technical diving includes but is not limited to Deep
Diving(beyond 130 feet of depth), Extended bottom times, Cave Diving, Wreck Diving and any
dive requiring decompression.
What does it take to become a technical
diver?
As with all diving, technical diving is a
sport and can be rewarding to those who have the right attitude and
discipline to master the task loading and skills technical diving
brings. Physical fitness plays a big role in decompression and gear
management of all technical divers. Lastly, depending on how far you
want to go, financial ability is key to safe technical diving.
