Lake Travis Windy Point

Windy Point Park is one of the top diving "hot spots" in the Central Texas area. It has been recognized by various divers and instructors from all over the state. Locally, several Fire Rescue and Underwater Rescue Operations use Windy Point Park as a training ground to help save lives. We also offer a wealth of items for you to find, explore, and seek out in Lake Travis.

Windy Point Park was founded in 1980, by Bob and Richard Barstow. Just a 30 minute drive from downtown Austin, the park is located on Comanche Trail Drive, 2 miles below the Oasis Restaurant on beautiful Lake Travis. Windy Point Park offers a natural grass lawn which leads to a wide open waterfront on Lake Travis. They are open year-round, 365 days a year.
